Introduction
Personal hygiene is a vital part of nursing care. Proper care of eyes, nose, ears, hands and feet helps maintain cleanliness, prevent infection and promote comfort in patients. Many patients, especially those who are bedridden, unconscious or seriously ill, are unable to perform their own hygiene activities. In such cases, nurses must provide complete assistance.
